The stay at Villa Mia was one of the most beautiful holidays we have had together as a group of friends. The house is stunning and the property is simply beautiful. The hospitality of Anna & Costas deserves special mention. The restaurant recommendations from both of them were absolutely top. We will come back in any case!

Awesome stay! The house is simply great and built and decorated in a very thoughtful way. There are so many opportunities in and around the house. We stayed with three kids and enjoyed the pool, table tennis, the outside dining area, the tree area and so much more. The owners took great care of us whilst giving us all privacy. This villa is amazing if you like to be away from the crowds. It is equipped with everything you would need on holiday. The owners are wonderful, friendly and helpful. The villa is perfect for a group of people or a large family group . We had a wonderful stay and would love to return. Supermarket will deliver and you can have takeaway food delivered. The town is a short drive or taxi ride away and is a lovely town to wander around. There is also a lovely beach although it is hard to tear yourself away from the pool. Would highly recommend

We had a wonderful time at Villa Mia. The hosts Anna and Konstantinos are so relaxed and nice! We got a welcome basket at arrival, a self-baked quiche during the stay and they arranged taxis for us. Housecleaning was done one time per week including new towels, beds, pool and so on. The house is amazing! It´s freestanding without neighbors, sea view, sunshine all day. We pretty much liked the outside area as the pool, kitchen, grill, seating area is very close together. So we were able to hang out together. There is enough space as well to play soccer or table tennis on the grass. Another plus is the close location to Rethymno, where you can find top restaurants, supermarkets and anything else. A great bakery is just 2 minutes way down with the car. It´s actually like on the pictures. Maybe we will come again!

Wonderful house with lots of entertainment possibilities and plenty of quiet spaces to hide away and read a book or just relax. Super comfy beds and just all around great!! the owners were so friendly and welcoming, they even brought us local treats and left a beautiful basket of goodies upon arrival!

A beautiful villa in a great location (we had a car hire so not far to travel in to Rethymno town) with amazing views. The hosts are so welcoming and some of the best we have experienced. We travelled with our 1 year old this time and they had organised a variety of indoor toys which was an amazing touch. We can’t wait to go back!

The beautiful pictures of the villa had me so excited to take the trip but after seeing this place in person it surpassed all expectations. The spaciousness of the grounds were relaxing and the view were breathtaking. Not olny was the enviroment exactly what i needed , the owner of the place was most helpful with all our needs. Fantastic holiday! The Villa is just beautiful in a stunning location. The Villa has everything you need for a family…the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. Private location, not overlooked, with views of the sea and the mountains. The pool is perfect size for all the family to use. You will need a car if you want to visit places as the Villa is a bit out of the way but there are plenty of taxis on hand. We did use the bus, not many that run but good once you figure out the timetable. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. We were able to contact them with any questions or local information needed. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Mia!

We enjoyed the amazing view at the mountains and the see, the warm swimmingpool and the outdoorkitchen. And all this in a complete private setting. Grande et belle maison climatisée . Environnement calme sans être isolée, à 10 mn en voiture de Rethymnon. Parties extérieures très agréables avec divers endroits ombragés. Terrasse sur pilotis sous un immense chêne. Nous étions 2 familles avec des ados et avons passé un super séjour. Le propriétaire est très sympathique avec de nombreuses attentions tels des légumes de son potager, un gâteau typique... Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !

Villa ist sehr schön. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Wir hatten ein Problem mit Wespen - es wurde sich sofort gekümmert. Liebevolle Begrüßung mit Wein und Obst und frisches Gemüse. 4 Schlafzimmer mit guten und großen Betten. Nur 2 Badezimmer sind angemessen, die anderen etwas klein. Für Kinder wurde gesorgt: extra Kinderbetten, Babybadewanne, Spielzeug, Spielecke im Haus und draußen mit Rutsche. Besonders gut für die Kinder der flache Bereich im Pool.

We had an amazing time in Villa Mia. Its got everything you need, very well thought of design and space. Its great for kids too, with the playground right next to the pool area and the bbq/dining area. It even had some toys inside for the kids to play. We loved to rest in multiple shaded areas outside the house, like a wide bed under a big tree, outside sofas or a gazebo. The kitchen was well equiped and organized, so is the living room with the audio system and big TV, which we barely used because there was so much other thigs to do. The location is also quite good. Its very close to Rethymno (only few kilometeres) and the beaches. At the same time it's far enough from other houses to feel private and be able to enjoy your vacation peacefully. Last but not least, the owners were fantastic, very helpfull and friendly. We were even gifted with a home made cake.

We had a great time while staying at this house! The location is great and very private. Rethymno is a great city with good food as well. The house left nothing to ask for, the common areas and the bedrooms felt very luxorious. We spent most of our time outside in the great garden and by the pool. We also cooked a lot of food both indoors and outdoors. Booking, check-in and communication of was very easy!

One of the most beautiful and comfortable villas we have visited in Rethymno! The spaces were amazing, beautiful and spotlessly clean! We enjoyed it, young and old! Kostas and Anna very helpful and always smiling!! It will definitely be one of our first choices when we visit the city again!

Wow, what an amazing villa and fantastic hosts. I cannot fault either and would highly recommend a stay here. The villa is very high end and luxurious and the facilities are out of this world. Our teens loved the games room and basketball court. The pool area and outdoor kitchen were spacious, with comfortable sun beds and plenty of space. We loved the hammock and bed hidden away in the shade of the tree at the end of the garden. Kitchen well equipped for anything you would need, coffee machine, sandwich toaster, juicer, smoothie makers and more. Beds all really comfy and the master bedroom is a dream with an incredible view from the toilet and bath ! The hosts were also amazing and responded to every enquiry quickly. They organised a cake for my sons birthday and gave us a home cooked spinach pie which was delicious !! You do need a car really, but taxis to Rethymon were around 15Euro one way, but easy to get and less than 10 mins to the centre of town. If you haven’t yet been then don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed. Everything really was amazing and we had an incredible holiday.

The most amazing villa for a family holiday! We were a group of 3 families with 5 children under 10 and the villa was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The downstairs games room is complete with a glow in the dark wall and disco ball and we had a kids disco every evening. The pool area and garden is fantastic. Costas and Anna are amazing hosts and helped us with everything we needed from taxis to restaurant bookings. We would 100% recommend this villa and will definitely be going back!

Check in was super easy and the host is very hands on and helpful. The villa was very clean on arrival and was cleaned once during our one week stay. The playground is compact, but great and there are toys for indoor play as well for younger children. The wifi was great all over the villa - inside and outside as well as on all the floors. The villa has one double bedroom on the ground floor. There are two twin rooms and another double on the first floor. There is just a toilet on the ground floor. There is a tiny shower on the lower floor. There is a separate bathroom upstairs and en suite with the double upstairs. We were two families travelling with children and this was the only issue - one set of parents were upstairs with all the children and the other parents downstairs - something to keep in mind if you travel like us. We loved our stay in the villa, it has everything you need - blankets and extra towels, all things if you want to cook and a very handy guide book with great recommendations! Our two suggestions would be : - pool cover to keep the water warm (we paid €80/day for pool heating) - it would be great if the double room on the ground floor would be an en suite (or the bathroom next to it had a shower).

Very good. Perfect height between the coast and the hills a 360 view. From blue to green, only the butterflies, dragonflies, bees and some goats. Corners of the house and garden for everyone. Comfortable furniture and amenities. A dream for children - and 10 minutes Rethymno Old City.

We had great communication from AirBnB host Manos , all details were correct, and quick to answer any questions . There was an on-line guest guide covering all we needed , from on line shopping for groceries for when we arrived , to special services like massages , boat trips etc . Amazing (and clean) villa with a great view of the sea and over the city of Rethymnon. The place is easily reachable by car or taxi (which is very cheap) and you can get to town quite fast. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. All in all a top holiday location for larger group of people.

Fantastic location. Very private villa close to Rethymno. Our family enjoyed using the kitchen, heated pool, and basketball hoop. Our toddler loved the kiddie pool as well as the playground and the toys. Beds were comfortable and the villa was clean when we arrived. Thanks so much to Anna and her husband for their hospitality. We appreciated the welcome basket, Anna’s homemade bread, and the chocolate for our daughter’s birthday! Very thoughtful hosts.

The villa is fabulous. A large object containing all necessaire facilities. We enjoyed a gerat time during 14 days. The host Anna is very nice and fulfills all the needs we had. The maintnance of the rroms, the pool and the sourrounding ist first class. We were with two families including 3 kids from 4-7 year old. The kids had a lot of fun using the well equiped kids corner. One of the best villa we ever rent. We will come back !!

Magnifique villa située dans un endroit particulièrement calme et très proche de la ville de Rethymnon. La société qui en assure la gestion (CreteVillas4U) s'est avérée particulièrement efficace et très accommodante en ce qui concerne les horaires de check-in et out. En outre, un pack de bienvenue vous attend dès votre arrivée. Un service de qualité difficile à égaler par les sociétés concurrentes et ce, à tous égards. La villa est extraordinairement bien tenue : propreté et état des lieux parfait tant intérieurs qu'extérieurs : piscine superbe, pelouse tondue au millimètre, aire de jeux pour enfants sans oublier le barbecue et des chaises longues de qualité. Que vous profitiez de ce logement de luxe pour des vacances en famille ou avec des amis, le parking privé, sécurisé, permet d'y stationner très facilement 4 ou 6 véhicules de toutes tailles. Les commerces ainsi que les multiples restaurants sont accessibles en quelques minutes seulement. Le luxe et le calme à proximité immédiate de la ville.

This is an exceptionel house, very posh and extravagant but still with a perfect homely feel. This villa is very private with a great view of the mountains and the ocean. We enjoyed it so much there. We recommend to try the pizza oven which we had no experience with but it was easy and the result was the best pizza we had ever had. We had the pool heated which we thought was worth it eventhough it was a little pricy. Manos and Anna were the perfect hosts giving us lots of good advice and bringing us little local specialities and home made oil, raki and jam. Rethymnon town and beach were also better than expected with great restaurants (Manos and Anna can give you tips) and really perfect sand (ps lots of places of free sunbeds across the road if you eat in their restaurant for lunch). Perfect place for two families to share. We were a family of four and my parents. There could have been two more people there no problem (for people with walking difficulties it should be said that there is no shower on the ground level, but there is three in the rest of the house plus and outdoor pool shower so not missing any in general) for families with smaller kids there is also a fantastic playground. All in all book if you can we would love to go again.
